Alpha Rho Gamma has raised the bar in Rushing. The most common Rush technique among Fraternities and Soroities is a week long period plagued with Information Nights and Social events. In breaking this mold, Alpha Rho Gamma seeks to have a two week Rush period with an average of two "events" a week. These Rush events are a time for the Brothers and the prospects to meet one another and at the conclusion of this period bids will be given to those deemed ARG material.
In selecting prospective members, Alpha Rho Gamma active members will base judgement on the compatability of members and the quality of personality they possess. By no means are we picking members on the basis of massive amounts of alcohol consumed or "cool" party tricks they can do. Our Rush events are social events, not a time to get drunk and waste our time.
To those members who get bids at the end of this Rush period, they move onto the next step where we will test their commitment to Alpha Rho Gamma. At the end of the Pledge Period, they will be granted full brotherhood and be fully accepted into Alpha Rho Gamma.
