Alpha Rho
Gamma began midway through the Nineteenth
Century. In 1863 two men, Franklin McStevens and Jonathan Swift,
came together in a bond of brotherhood to form what has become
known as ARG.
Both
students of Law at Harvard University founded Alpha Rho Gamma
under the principles of Good will and prestiege. Since then
Alpha Rho Gamma has expanded from solely Harvard University
to encompass nine Universities across the United States.

The
picture above is the first Alpha Rho Gamma house at Harvard
University. Though this house stands no longer, the principles
of which Alpha Rho Gamma was founded upon still shine brightly
among the College Men who have pledged their honor and dignity
to Alpha Rho Gamma.
Today Alpha Rho Gamma is present within nine collegiate
campuses, the largest being at the University of California,
Davis.
